I'll dominate 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.

Former two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the novice is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really proceeding.
